Cuttsy
• Write either a prose or poetry either 2 different submissions or just one split into 2 half’s, on part written in 1st person from the perspective of a cancer tumour, treat as a conscious being. Then in the next part do the same but from the perspective of the body with cancer, this could illustrate the battle between them and maybe a hatred for each other. Also if it was only one submission you could do one paragraph for one then switch to the other and back again giving it the feel of an argument.

• Prose or poetry, to depict the plight of a spider caught in a bathtub, how it got there, how sick it is of trying to get out, desperate feelings, fear of being washed down the plug hole, many things could be done with this and what happens in the end. Situation could be related to other things.

• Take the picture of something outside, a tree or a building at four different times of the day, at the same time take a picture of a clock (analouge i think works better) then set the pictures out in a window pane form with a frame around them. Then over each individual picture add the faded so its very faint but it still visible image of the clock. Could be \"A day in the life of a ......\"

• A child sat inside playing a sports computer game next to a window and out of the window its a sunny day and there are many kids out side playing that very same sport.

• Draw a dark, gothic picture of something normally bright and happy, like a cute little puppy, or a flower garden.

• Draw something dark and morbid like a corpse, or a vampire, and make it look like a light, pretty picture.

• Go outside for a while with a notepad and write a description of everything you hear. Be poetic, and as descriptive as possible.

• Write a poem about an emotion that you don\'t have very often.

• Photo-manip a normal looking human to look like an elf, or a dwarf, or a fairy, or some kind of fantasy race.

• Write a story involving a trio like paper, rock, scissors. Other trios like this include...

Plants can be burned by fire, fire can be extinguished by water, water helps plants...

candle-girl
• Photo: a boy holding a lit black pillar candle, it being the only light source. hes looking down at the flame.

• Photo: a girl outside standing up and looking at the stars. in photoshop or some other paint program put in a shooting star.

• Painting or photo: a beagle laying on his back, looking on evilly.

• Photomanip: a girl looking to the left (profile) and summoning a fireball or ice ball between her hands.

• Fictional flyer: take photographs of a collection of items. Label the items, assign prices and arrange them neatly on two double-sided tabloid-sized pages. Add other details such as the name of the store, location and phone. Make several copies, and if desired, distribute them to a few friends.

• Build a house of seeds of a similar size to a birdhouse, and place it outside on the backyard lawn or suspended from an overhead structure. Visit the \'seedhouse\' each day (and at the same hour if desired) and photograph it, until it disappears.

• Select the first object at hand and use a roll of film (approx. twenty-five photos for digital camera users) taking photographs of the same object.

• Recently my mom bought me some lace so I can tie back my short, unruly hair. I\'ve been playing around with taking pictures of it and have been pondering what kind of manips and interesting photos or ideas can come out of the concept of black lace.

• Also, I just was eating blood oranges and I think they\'re kind of sunset-like. The change of hue from yellow at the top to blood red on the bottom can make for many an interesting idea.

• Listen to the radio or put in a cd. As you hear the lyrics and take in the rythem of the song jot down the emotions it\'s expressing. Later, formulate those emotions into your own words and write an expresive poem on the general feelings of the song you listend to

• Abstract thoughts into visual art, have a pen and paper ready when you are relax and let thoughts comes to you, then do a quick sketch to capture its existance and draw it out later.

• A photo of a man agianst a wall screaming as a bottle smashes it, the bottle can be empty or full of some coloured liquid. The bottle stands for sanity.

• A design of an image of an animals eyes, and a sun setting in them, with lines cutting the whole thing to the left.

• This is a freehand sketch on top of a photo. A peice of tape shaped into a peace sign over an american flag.

• If you\'re away from home, think fo home and the warmth it held, draw it in blue

• a clock with the 9 removed and replaced with the word warning

• How bout this:...instant pet..just add water...(keep dry in package it wil explode...), only thing is...yol never know what pet you get. Suprise suprise...

diosaperdida
• For a visual artist...ask a child what you should paint/draw. Have the child be your consultant through out the exacution of the work...you will step out of your norm and get help from a fresh and imaginative mind.

• A natural place (forest, desert, jungle, etc) completely made up of wires and metal / mechanical parts

• Photo Manipulation for Political Art: A woman who is \"an all american girl\" in the background, and in the front is a woman who looks sorta similiar, but is 30 years older, with wrinkles, a respirator and leatherey-skin.
The Point: What will happen when you try \"so\" hard to fit in now a days because of societys idea of \"Beautiful\".
