• Make an emoticon that would say \"You\'re obsessed!\" or something like that.

• Make an emoticons of someone exausted, and fighting sleep. Not actually sleeping, but should sleep.

• Make an emoticon of an artist hard at work. Not any type of artist in particular, but an artist.

• Make an \"Under Construction\" emoticon.

•Draw something normal, but have the background be out of the ordinary. Like a bottle of lotion engulfed in purple flames.

•Watch a child playing and write a poem about what the child is thinking and/or doing as s/he\'s playing.

•How about an animated emoticon of one guy dumping a bucket of water on another guy\'s head?

•Take a photo of yourself. Now, make yourself into someone from the opposite sex!

sophist
• I thought it would be really cool to try and write a pieve of poetry or prose (?) where all the elements are inverted and changed into their opposites... then try and achieve a piece of writing completely typical to everyday life.. ie. \'the norm\' containing these warped elements.. for instance... fire would be air ? and water , earth? ... maybe that would just produce a description of life on another planet... hmm.

escapeartist
• Emoticon of a smiley with a scrunched up nose. It\'s an expression that I constantly make (in real life) and it tends to get frustrating when I\'m chatting with a friend and I can\'t show that expression.

They come to find out that aliens caused the plague to rid the world of human beings, so they could move in. What to do, what to do...?

• For those with cameras....pick a rudimentary shape,[like a square, cone, pyramid] and find as few landmarks that are made of that particular shape. i.e. building, play ground equipment, trash recepticle, etc. You\'d be suprised how many times you see the same shape again and again.

• Sitting in a place familiar resting my face it’s nothing new
When I notice there’s a changed order to my surroundings
The light is brighter the space is cleared. is this to fear?
So I fix my eyes on an old television broken and ancient
I cant figure out where or why its here then suddenly
A picture emerges and shreds my grasp on reality
I see nothing at all just random colors and my reflection
In the cold glass
I spring up fumble to the door, which has moved as well
Its gone I’m trapped with this cube just me and the unknown
So after the panic is set aside the examination begins.. . ..

Create a painting using watercolor or any paint capturing the vision that came to mind
When reading use random ideas and enjoy.

• Sit down with a pad of paper and your drawing utensil of choice. Turn off the lights. Turn on your favorite song (Or just some song you enjoy, or even better, one you\'ve never ever ever heard before). Now, as the song goes, close your eyes and let your hand move as it will. Don\'t peek. Let yourself draw/write/paint/create whatever as the song wills you to do it.

leodadominico
• Illustrate one of your best fond memory.

yuorme
• A lone flower growing out of the cracks in pavement with an inner-city backdrop (dumpsters, trucks etc.)

dreamroamer
• Place 20-30 favourite items into a box and take a photograph of the contents, as viewed from the top. Close the box. Then, taking a sheet of paper and pen, list 20-30 favourite items that may or may not be present in the box. Display photograph and paper as art (or one may choose to print the written list and position it over the photograph.

• Make a list of your favourite foods and use at least five to create a (fictional) recipe.

• Make a list of your favourite foods and arrange them into a pleasing composition on paper or canvas. Photograph if desired. (A slightly more difficult twist: use foods least favoured or most disliked.)

kagutsuchi
• Listen to your favorite song. Pick one line from that song, and then draw a picture of the opposite of what you think it means.

whoisphillip
• Pick a person you love and write a poem about all of the negative things about them, be as abstract as possible.

albyon
• Draw a piece of silk rope wrapped around a bloody/broken heart.
• How about a fantasy idea like a cozy home scene with a little pixie girl sitting with a pet, furry dragon on her lap, illuminated by firefly-lanterns and reading a book called \"101 Humans and Other Terrifying Stories.\" ... yeah.

Poisonfrog
• A close up drawing or photograph of a calloused hand and/or forearm, like of a climber, straining to reach a teeny ledge. I imagine it as gray lichen-covered rock, but red sandstone or slate or any rock would work. I also imagine the hand being a girls, but that\'s changable too. (The title or symbolism behind the work being we try so hard to reach \"ledges\" in our lives that keep us from falling to the bottom of a cliff. Sometimes those ledges may be slim, but they keep us on our way up the cliff.)

That wouldn't exactly be "art", but by golly! It'd taste good!

Mmmmmmm...

*goes off to make that taco*
